NEW Series
Nonprofit Empowerment Workshop Series
Starting in 2024, Pablo Foundation began hosting a series of nonprofit workshops designed to empower our community nonprofit organizations through our own programming. Beginning in 2025, we’re also incorporating external programming; all these programs fall under the umbrella of our Nonprofit Empowerment Workshop (NEW) Series.
Whether you're looking for a one-time workshop, a cohort opportunity to build alongside other nonprofits, or a certificate program to enrich your leadership, Pablo Foundation has something for everybody.
You can learn more about each of our 2025 NEW Series opportunities by clicking the buttons above. Below, read about some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding Pablo Foundation's approach to empowering nonprofits through professional development.
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there three different programs?
Answer: We want to provide you (folks from Eau Claire area nonprofits) with as many high-quality, relevant, and growth-driven learning opportunities as possible.
In addition to our own workshop programming, we’re really excited to partner with experts and educators from BrandRaise and Viterbo University to offer cohort-based workshop sessions and a larger certificate program to fit a variety of needs, availabilities, and interests.
Who is this for?
Answer: We’re doing this for employees and volunteers of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are eligible to receive Pablo Foundation funding, including aligning with Pablo Foundation’s commitments to anti-discrimination and equity, diversity, and inclusion. You can review our commitments here and our eligibility requirements here.
How much will I have to pay?
Answer: Pablo Foundation pays all tuition fees for participants. We just ask that you plan ahead and ensure you are available to attend all sessions of the cohort and certificate programming before applying.
How do I decide if an offering is the right fit for me?
Answer: Learn more about each opportunity at the links above. We’ll also be communicating a lot more information in the coming weeks and months. Some criteria for you to consider for any given program are the time commitment, relevance, and interest.
How do I find out more or sign up for these workshops?
Answer: As we finalize plans, we’ll send relevant information to folks subscribed to our email list; you can sign up by clicking this link.
What problems will each of these programs address?
Answer: The workshops target the wide-ranging unmet needs you (area nonprofits) have previously identified or upcoming challenges you helped us identify are necessary for nonprofits' long-term success. We use local experts and leaders to meet you where you’re at with standalone sessions.
The cohort sessions from BrandRaise and Pablo Foundation will help organizations develop core business fundamentals like brand strategy, visual identity, and fundraising strategy.
The certificate program from Viterbo University and Pablo Foundation will empower nonprofit leaders to manage the wide range of challenges that arise in running a nonprofit, from nonprofit boards and governance to business success for nonprofit leaders.
Can I sign up for more than one program or workshop?
Answer: Yes, but because we can't anticipate the extent of demand for workshops and programs, we'd like your organization to consider which might be the best opportunity for you or your organization. If interest exceeds capacity, we may not be able to accommodate everyone's request and will strive to ensure as many organizations as possible are able to participate throughout the year.
How many people from the same organization can register?
Answer: For workshops, as long as space allows, there is no limitation to the number of participants from one organization. For cohorts, we ask each interested organization to register a maximum of two people. For the certificate program, we anticipate limiting registration to one individual per organization.
