OUR COMMITMENTS

Pablo Foundation believes in the equal treatment of all people and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, physical or mental ability, or marital status.

Pablo Foundation will not fund any charitable organizations who violate the Foundation’s anti-discrimination statement. Further, Pablo Foundation does not fund individuals, businesses, political organizations, or organizations opposed to religious freedom.

No Pablo Foundation funds may be used to participate or intervene in political campaigns or to support or attempt to influence legislation except to the extent that such activities are permissible under IRS rules pertaining to recognized 501(c)(3) organizations.

We will put equity, diversity, and inclusion at the forefront of our granting requirements. We will challenge our grant recipients to acknowledge the makeup of our community and justify how grants will be used to accommodate people from different races, ethnicities, age groups, gender identities, sexualities, socioeconomic statuses, and disabilities. We do not hold ourselves up as virtuous. We will make mistakes. We have much to learn. But we respectfully encourage you to join us in working toward a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive community.

Environmental sustainability is meeting current human needs without jeopardizing future generations’ abilities to meet their own needs. Whether it is constructing carbon reducing buildings, using refurbished materials, or encouraging the use of recyclable materials, we have a responsibility to and will support projects and organizations that promote environmental sustainability. We know that social and cultural values influence attitudes and behaviors towards environmental sustainability, and we are committed to supporting organizations who actively participate in these conversations, develop good practices, and consistently lead in these efforts. We respectfully encourage you to join us in working toward a forward-thinking and environmentally sustainable community for generations to come.
